Frost Headlines Annual Celebration

New Nebraska Football Head Coach Scott Frost will be the featured speaker, highlighting a “Celebration of Leadership” at the Annual Celebration of the Columbus Area Chamber.

The Celebration will be April 23rd at Platte County Ag Park.

Scott Frost’s rapid rise up the coaching ranks culminated with the former Husker returning to his alma mater, as Frost was announced Nebraska’s head coach on Dec. 2, 2017.  Frost is one of the nation’s top young coaches, as he was the 2017 consensus national coach of the year.

The Annual Celebration will also honor members who have reached significant anniversaries in their years of continuous membership.  Those are headlined by Cornhusker Public Power District, celebrating 75 years of membership.

The Rich Anderson Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award will be given that evening to the Chamber’s outstanding volunteer from the past fiscal year.

Chamber Board Chair-Elect Dennis Grennan organizes the event.

This year’s event will not include a meal due to scheduling and also a desire to give as many people as possible the opportunity to attend.  Social hour and appetizers begins at 6:00pm with program at 7:00pm.  Attire for the event is business casual or Husker gear.

Tickets for the event are $25 to any employee of a Chamber-member business.  Non-member tickets are $35.  Chamber members can have preferred seating at a reserved table of eight for $250.  Student Tickets are also available to any full-time student for just $15.
